    Every life is different; every moment is different. These senryu have captured moments in the lives of the poets represented here and have done it well. Not only personal to the poets, but many have become personal with me. Your comments, Mike, are “spot on.”

    What a surprise and delight! You outdid yourself in this fine retrospective issue. I was floored and then thrilled and then humbled, Michael, when one of my haiku appeared in the lineup. Your comments about the poems shine as brighly as the haiku in this retrospective collection, thanks for the insightful commentary that twists my brain with its haiku juxtapositions and conjurings.
