Bryan lives with his wife and 2 daughters in Belleville, Illinois. He has degrees from both Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. After teaching for fifteen years in urban schools, Bryan made the change to being an industrial coffee roaster. He has been published in a number of fine journals and anthologies.
